Why should I hire an in home pet sitter?
Maintaining your pet’s regular schedule at home is the best
way to make your pet comfortable in your absence. Your pet will receive one on one attention, and will certainly be happier
at home than in an unfamiliar place with lots of other animals. Also, hiring a private pet sitter is usually similar in cost to boarding. Avoid the
stressful car rides, noisy kennel, and risk of illness from exposure to other

Can I meet my pet sitter in advance?
Once your pet sitting is scheduled, we will set up an introductory meeting. The Singing Sitter will come and meet you in your home to get acquainted with you and your pet. This introductory meeting is free. During
this visit, your sitter will learn your pet’s daily routine and any special
needs they may have. You will provide The Singing Sitter with two keys to your home or a key and a functional garage code. If an extra trip is required to pickup the key, a fee of $15 will apply.
How can I contact you while I am away?
You can call, text, or email. When
The Singing Sitter is in your home your call is the highest priority!
How will I know when you are at my home?
The Singing Sitter will provide confirmation of arrival and departure, so you'll never have to worry about your sitter not showing up.
When is payment due?
Payment is due before services are completed. We accept cash, check, and Paypal.
What if I need to cancel?
If you need to cancel your overnight pet sitting or house
sitting, please give 7 days advance notice to receive a full
refund. Cancellations within 7 days of your booking will be refunded 50%.
Cancellations within 48 hours of your booking will not be refunded.
Will The Singing Sitter give prescribed medication to my pet?
Yes, and she will sing “Spoonful of Sugar” while she does.

Yes. I am privately insured through Pet Sitters Associates, LLC (PSA), one of the most respected insurers in the industry.
